The training session, along 5 days covered the main topics from Smart Grid:
- study different energy sources (main grid, hydro, wind solar);
- applying power factor compensation by using wind sources;
- synchronization of hydro generator with main grid- main techniques;
- techniques of controlling the solar source through SCADA system;
- methods of adding optimization functions in smart grid software.
In this training session, 25 young professors and master students from 5 different institution from entire Ethiopia have graduated.
Through this training session, we used another opportunity- we have created a partnership for research and development.

It was a successful example of training in using Asset Management Software for managing 7 databases of 10 sets of data each. The configuration was composed by:
- Zebra QLn420
- Zebra LS3578 Bluetooth bare code + dongle
- Kaizer Software AMS
The training session covered:
- installation of hardware, software in harsh environment
- organizing data (preparing for population, repairing data, reporting, securing data)
- backup and restore of data bases
- manage labeling (designing labels and organizing for printing)
The training session has used docs, ppt, video materials, and it was address to heads of departments, directors of schools, responsible people for laboratories.
The list of implementation is based on cooperation between DeLorenzo and our team. The entire hardware architecture has been provided, installed and tested in Delorenzo’s laboratory, then a collection of experiments has been designed and conducted. There were two kind of video support:
- Video lecturing
- On-the-job video training systems
The lab setup of Microwave training system has been used to make a real time video demonstration for a TVET institution in Sri Lanka. A high quality audio and video streaming has been sent using an AXIS IP camera and an ASUS VPN router. Through our software application we have had also a text messaging assistance. The one way (Deltac-to- Sri Lanka) video quality rate was 4 of 5.
Another implementation was for a TVET in Oman. The video training was for another subject- Antenna trainer, where the video streaming had to capture data 360 degree. The software used was Zoom implementation. The one way (Delta-to-Oman) video quality rate was 4 of 5.
With International University for International for Development and Humanities in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) Deltac established full duplex video streaming for an university courses topic- Big data. The video implementation has been used under the control of Skype. Without VPN system, the video quality rate was 3 of 5.

By including in our hardware architecture a controlled inverter designed by Toshiba, this lab implementation is much more than a speed controller- an electrical machine automatic tester.
For this reason, the collection of proposed experiments are opening many opportunities for the lab. They are related to:
- setting up in the inverter cu motors’ parameters
- open loop regulation of the motor’s speed
- setting up the jog speed
- implementing multi-steps speed
- controlling the power curves of motors
- controlling the torque-speed curves of motors
- closed loop regulation of the motor’s speed
Next figure shows the hardware setup for closed loop regulation in the torque-speed curve.
It is designed to present the operation of electronic, mechanical and hydraulic components composed in the control and injection systems of modern CR/EDC type Diesel engines.
The assembly of the mentioned laboratory together with the specific documentation has been produced by Mechatronika Wyposażenie Dydaktyczne Sp. z o. o. and equipped and tested in Delorenzo‘ s laboratories.
The documentation and laboratory trainer cover the figured items, linked with the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) related operation.

- Diagnostic exercises with KTS 5xx Software
- Advanced exercises in diagnostic based on multimeter and oscilloscope. Measurement during exercises are based on ,,banana,, connectors located on the electric scheme of the board.
It is a complex lab, intended to be used by people involved in physicist activity, and/or microwave electronic design. With reasonable price, the users have had access to study very complex electromagnetic phenomenon.

- Characteristics of crystal detectors used in microwave systems
- Study the propagation modes, wavelengths ans phase velocity in waveguides
- Studying the quality factor and bandwidth in microwave transmission systems
- Evaluating the standing waves ans reflection coefficient in microwave systems
- Studying the waveguides impedance using Smith chart
- Studying the directional coupler
- Evaluating the insulation and coupling coefficient in Hybrid Tee
- Communication experiments using Horn antennas
