- Duration: 10 weeks
It is based on the Act 1974, which is the primary piece of legislation governing workplace health and safety reference. It is designed by following class standards OHSAS 18001, in the frame of Health and Safety Campaign.
It id designed in two levels of skill:
- Technical level (80 hours). It covers: Health and safety issues, The basics of local law, the importance of risk assessments and method statements and the development process, Site requirements for the welfare on site, Hazards and controlsassociated, Site environmental management including management of waste and ecology.
- Managing Occupational Health and Well being (240 hours). Simply, it is a leading course dedicated to create a healthy and productive place of work, then managing it. It covers: typical legislation procedures, implementing risk assessment techniques, management of the site, key issues to control the risks, managing the site requirements for the welfare of construction workers on site. At the end, the graduate will be able to Develop and write a business case, as a final project.
